Southampton County hereby gives notice that the structure or structures situate at 30400 Sycamore Avenue, Sedley, VA 23878 owned by Thomas L. Scott, whose last known address is 30400 Sycamore Avenue, Sedley, VA 23878 but whose current address may be unknown, is deemed to pose a significant threat to the public safety.

Southampton County further gives notice that in accordance with the provisions of Section 10-6, the owner of such property much remove, repair or secure the structure or structures that might endanger the public health or safety of the residents of Southampton County.

The owners and lien holder are further notified that Southampton County, through its agents or its employees, may remove, repair or secure such structure that might endanger the public health or safety of other residents of Southampton County. If the owner and or lien holder of such property, after reasonable notice and reasonable time to do so, has failed to remove, repair or secure the structures.

Southampton County further gives notice that Southampton County may take action to prevent unauthorized access to the structure or structure within seven (7) days of such as the structure is deemed to pose a significant threat to public safety as stated in this notice.
