NEWSOMS — Ruth Smith Person of Thomaston Road passed away on Aug. 13, 2017, while a patient in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

The homegoing service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, in Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 28668 N. Main St., Newsoms, with the pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Cole, delivering the eulogy. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
