The annual Isle of Wight County Fair just got officially started on Thursday night, and there’s plenty of entertainment, food, music and rides to enjoy through Sunday afternoon.

We want to offer our sincere gratitude to all the men and women who volunteer their time and energy to making the event happen. They always go above and beyond what’s needed to make the fair an occasion worth attending and remembering.

No doubt all who have attended over the years appreciate the improvements to the layout as well as what’s offered for children and adults.

We hope you’ll consider going to the fair, or even returning with friends for another visit.

It’s not only an ideal opportunity to support your county, but more importantly it’s a way to safely socialize and enjoy family-style activities together.

Those are two of the best features of any fair or festival. That and cotton candy, of course.
