COURTLAND
The 22nd annual Cheroenhaka (Nottoway) Indian Tribe “Corn Harvest” Intertribal Powwow and School Day will be hosted by the Cheroenhaka (Nottoway) Indian Tribe at Cattashowrock Town, 27345 Aquia Path, Courtland.

This features Native American Drumming and Dancing, native arts and crafts, vendors, native food, ASV Artifacts ID Day and the Aztec Dancers.

Demonstrations will be given in flint knapping, Native American beading and more. Tribal history will be presented by Chief Walt “Red Hawk” Brown on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Grand entry is at noon.

Entry donation is $6 adults; $4 seniors and children over 6 years. Children under 6 years are free.

The event is sponsored by the Cheroenhaka (Nottoway) Indian Tribes Heritage Foundation Inc., a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt entity.
