RIVERVIEW, Fla.—Carolyn Mae Parker, 69, of Riverview and formerly from Franklin, Va., and Richmond Hills, Ga., passed away on Sunday May, 29, 2011.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Riverview.
Carolyn was a dedicated homemaker and wife serving her family with love and support throughout the years.
She was married to James Thomas Parker Sr. for 51 years and together they had three children.
Carolyn is survived by her husband James; a son, James Thomas Parker Jr. of Poller, Ga.; two daughters, Lashaune Hannah (Alfred) of El Paso, Texas, and Mishelle DelFrate (Peter) of Riverview; one brother, Percell Britt of Alexandria, La., along with eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday, June 3, 2011, at the First Baptist Church of Riverview at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Knight officiating. Burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
