After claiming the Northeast District Championship in Smithfield the week before, the Southampton-Sussex Bronco all star season came to an end this past week in the Northeast Section Championships held at the Southern Chesapeake Athletic Association.

After an opening round 8-4 loss to Southern Chesapeake last Wednesday, the team couldn’t rebound and were defeated by Deep Creek 17-1 on Thursday.

Tournament champion Kempsville Blue and runners-up Southern Chesapeake move on to play in the South Region Championships this week in Virginia Beach.

The S-S Broncos had a great season and have much to be proud of.
