In preparation for Hurricane Florence, all schools will close on the half-day schedule Wednesday, Sept. 12, and remain closed on Thursday, Sept. 13 and Friday, Sept. 14.

This information comes from Kelvin Edwards, deputy superintendent.

• S.P. Morton Elementary closing at 1:2 p.m.

• J.P. King Jr. closing at 12:45 p.m.

• Franklin High School, also closing at 12:45 p.m.

Edwards added that Central Office will be closed at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, and remain so through Friday.
