To the Editor:

When talking to the candidates, or reading about their qualifications, both candidates appear to be qualified to hold the office of Treasurer. I do not personally know either of the candidates.

So how did I decide which candidate I will vote for on Nov. 6?

Rhonda Griffin was chosen by David K. Britt to be the interim Treasurer for Southampton County.

Rhonda Griffin has served as County Deputy Treasurer for over 13 years. There will not be a learning curve.

Rhonda Griffin is already doing the job of Treasurer for Southampton County.

For me it is a no-brainer. I will be voting for Rhonda Griffin for Treasurer of Southampton County.
