SUFFOLK — Edna Bynum Pouncie of Gates Road transitioned on Jan. 6, 2019.

She was born on July 1, 1942, in Nansemond County to the late Kilby and Mable Baker Bynum.

The service celebrating her life will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, in the chapel of William M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 S. Main St. Elder James Banks Jr. will officiate.

The committal and benediction will be held in Mount Sinai Church Cemetery, Suffolk.
