FRANKLIN
Rock Church’s JV basketball team recently beat Chesapeake Bay Academy by a final score 40 to 29. This win keeps Rock’s perfect season alive and moves them to six wins and no losses.

D.J. Dillon had game high and season high with 28 points along with six steals. Ben Turner turned in a double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The Rock Lions also recently defeated Albermarle School of Elizabeth City by a score of 48 to 30.

“We continue to get better and give God the glory while doing it,” said Coach Danny Dillon. “Winning is nice, but if you don’t have class and sportsmanship, you lose. Proud of these boys and the way they show love to opponents and refs.”
