At the Fall and Winter Athletic Awards Banquet on March 4, the following Broncos were presented the Sportsmanship Award for their positive leadership of their teams and outstanding representation of Franklin High School:

• Juhan Carr (Winter 2019 – Boys Basketball)

• Taliha Sweat (Fall 2018 – Cheerleading)

• Miracle Monger (Winter 2019 – Girls Basketball)

• Kemond Rogers (Fall 2018 – Football)

This award ceremony was implemented this school year to recognize FHS athletes who display good sportsmanship, which is an area of focus for the Virginia High School League. These student-athletes were nominated by their coaches to be the recipients of this award.
