COURTLAND

Helping Hand and Macedonia cemeteries will be the site of a Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 27, beginning with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Macedonia site, 23231 Main St., Courtland.

The parade will start at 11 a.m. from the Courtland Recreation Center at 25498 Florence St. Participants should be lined up by 10:45 a.m. The route will progress to the Helping Hand site at 21452 Main St.

The event will also include the cleaning of family grave sites and assisting the identification of unmarked graves, so participants’ help is requested.
