Dear Editor,

The week of May 6 to May 12, 2019, was National Nurses Week. The staff at MidAtlantic Health Solutions has been honored on a daily basis throughout the week with gifts and remembrances of all kinds. We feel very fortunate to work in such a caring environment when we have provided care for others during our careers.

On Wednesday, May 8, our office was provided Slurpee’s to celebrate the occasion. There was an additional surprise, however. When the staff went to 7-Eleven to pick up the Slurpee’s, an anonymous citizen asked what the occasion was and he paid for all of the Slurpee’s. We do not know who this gentleman was, but hope that he will read this letter and realize how much he touched our hearts when he provided this gift to us.
