FRANKLIN — Virginia Louise Britt, 81, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2019, in her home.

Mrs. Britt, a resident of Franklin, was employed by Southampton Memorial Hospital for 27-1/2 years and OBGYN Physicians for over 30 years.

She was a member of Greater Oak Grove Baptist Church, where Bishop Robert E. Duck III is the pastor.

Survivors include two daughters, Vicky Britt Joyner and Angela Renee’ Britt-Warren; one sister, Minister Virgie DeBerry; three brothers, Charlie Adams, George Adams and James Adams; and three grandchildren, Javarius Warren, Vikeisha Joyner and Tyrique Warren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Greater Oak Grove Baptist Church by the pastor, Bishop Robert E. Duck III. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
