Tidewater Publications, LLC, which publishes The Tidewater News, has announced that the official website for the newspaper is changing. The new address will be www.thetidewaternews.com, a slight change from the old address www.tidewaternews.com. The change is due to a domain name registry issue.

“Unfortunately, we had an issue with our domain name registry that could not be resolved,” said Tony Clark, the company’s publisher. “We regret that it caused our website to be inaccessible for a few days this week, but don’t expect any interruptions in service moving forward. “Clark added, “I’m incredibly grateful for the patience of our loyal readers during this transition.”

The disruption also interfered with the company’s email service, which is also now restored using the @thetidewaternews.com domain.
