COURTLAND
How do you take your Bublé? Romantic or swinging, like Frank Sinatra? Or maybe you prefer him exciting and intense, with touches of rhythm and blues. Great news! You can enjoy the music of Michael Bublé in a variety of sound flavors when “Shades of Bublé” comes to the stage on Saturday, Sept. 21, in the auditorium of Southampton High School in Courtland. This will be the start of the 2019-2020 musical season offered by the Franklin-Southampton Concert Association.
This show will feature a trio of singers paying tribute to the renown Grammy Award-winning singer and recording artist. Since April 2015, the men have been performing everywhere from luxury cruise ships to theater venues.
Don’t look for exact imitations in voice and on-stage mannerisms of Bublé. Instead, the performers will be channeling the singer’s style each in his own way. Song choices will include “Moondance,” “Home,” Come Fly With Me,” “Haven’t Met You Yet,” “Heartache Tonight,” “All of Me” and “Everything.”
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Don’t be late, otherwise you’ll miss out on all the flavor and fun of “Shades of Bublé’.”
If you want more Bublé’ afterward — and who doesn’t? — then copies of the trio’s CD will likely be sold following the show. Or, you can go to either www.shadesofbuble.com or visit Amazon.com.
This concert is the first of six shows, and subscriptions for the set cost only $60 per person; membership fee for students is $10. Otherwise, tickets at the door are $30 per adult and $10 per student.
