Hurricane men’s soccer wins first game

FRANKLIN

After losses in the first three games of the season, the men’s soccer team at Camp Community College has won its first game, 10-0, against Mid-Atlantic Christian University, on Sept. 4.

The Hurricanes first played Cape Fear Community College on Aug. 24, losing 5-1. Three days later, it was 5-0 against Averett University. This was followed by the 10-1 loss against Patrick Henry Community College on Aug. 31.

The team will participate in the Hokie Class this weekend, Sept. 21-22.

• Oct. 2 at USC Sumter

• Oct. 8 against MACU at home

• Oct. 16 against PHCC at home, starting at 3 p.m.

• Oct. 19 at Quake Football Club

• Oct. 20 at Saint Andrews

• Oct. 27 against Saint Andrews from 1 to 3 p.m.
