FRANKLIN — Roger “Shorty” Watson Jr. of Oak Street passed away on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, in his home.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

The homegoing celebration will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, in Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1071 Carrsville Highway, with the pastor, the Rev. Alfred D. Brown Sr., delivering the eulogy. The interment will be in Southview Cemetery.

The service with dignity will be conducted by Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 S. Main St.
