As emcee Rick Kelly proclaimed on Saturday, the Great Spirit had indeed blessed the gathering that weekend in Surry County. Dozens of Nottoway tribal members proceed to the inner circle at the start of the powwow. All around, visitors witnessed and photographed the tribe’s grand entry, which was repeated on Sunday. There was plenty to see and do during the weekend.
