- John and Jace Gray put their letters to Santa Claus in the mailbox set up in the lobby at The Tidewater News, located at 1000 Armory Drive, Franklin. The deadline to bring your handwritten or typed letter is Friday, Dec. 4.

Hey, boys and girls, Have you been good this year? Santa wants to hear from you!
It’s time to send your letter out to Santa and we’ll make sure he gets it. Plus, we’ll publish it in The Tidewater News on Wednesday, Dec. 23.
Here’s how to do it. Bring it by The Tidewater News at 1000 Armory Drive, Franklin, and we’ll make sure Santa gets the letters in plenty of time. You can also mail them to The Tidewater News, P.O. Box 497, Franklin, VA 23851, or e-mail Santa yourself at santa@tidewaternews.com.
Be sure to include your full name, complete address including your hometown, phone number and your age with your letter. Don’t forget to bring a photo of yourself so Santa can see your smiling face! Please write your name on the back of your photo!
The deadline to submit letters is Friday, Dec. 4.
