FRANKLIN – Laverne Britt, 73, of Norfolk, survived by her brothers, Junius Britt and Willie Britt (Gilma), passed away on May 16, 2021. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 22, at 11 a.m. in Vaughan-Temple Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Burial will follow in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery in Como, North Carolina. Vaughan-Temple Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
