Franklin – It was a close match May 20 at the tennis complex at Franklin High School but when the final ball was hit, the Southampton County High School Indians boy’s tennis team won the deciding game to clinch a 4-3 win. The final deciding close match was between the Perry twins (Xavier and Xavion) and the Indians team of Alan Diggs & Demarcus McDonald. The Indians came from behind to win with a score of 8 -5. This match closed the season for both teams.
Windsor – The Windsor High School Dukes boys tennis team took a 6 – 1 win over the FHS Broncos May 18 at Windsor High School.
