NANSEMOND – Carolyn Babb Moore White, 67, passed away July 6, 2021. She was born in Nansemond County, the daughter of the late Josephine Ray Babb and Frank Babb Sr. She was a member of Providence United Methodist Church and also Women of the Moose Chapter No. 7315.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 44 years, William Earl White; daughter, Kimberly J. Stancer; son, Jason E. White (Crystal); one grandchild, one sister, one brother and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 9, at 2 p.m. at Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery, 1891 Cypress Chapel Road, Suffolk, VA 23434 with the Rev. Tim Rawls officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association, 870 Greenbrier Circle, Green, Tower II, Suite 404, Chesapeake, VA 23320.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
