FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina – Mary Garris-Gaymon of Fayetteville, North Carolina departed her earthly life to claim eternal rest and peace on July 10, 2021. Mary was born in Southampton County on May 5, 1956 to her parents who are now deceased, Robert Lee and Nannie Britt Garris.

Mary is survived by her husband, Marion Gaymon; children, Mary Jane Gaymon, Marion Junior Gaymon, Kenyatta Michelle Owens (Quincey), Brandon Marion Gaymon (Dazmyn) and Bryan Gaymon; one sister, Rosa Garris Turner (Norris); 18 grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 1 to 5 p.m. A celebration of life will be held on July 24, at 11 a.m., at Move of God Ministries, 221 South Main Street, Franklin with Pastor J.E. Jarrett, officiating; Apostle Tyrone Hart is the pastor. The committal and benediction will follow in Southview Cemetery. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M.
