Gov. Ralph Northam has made the following appointments of local residents to his administration.

Brian Irvine, of Courtland, senior operations forester, Roseburg Resources Co., was named to the Board of Forestry.

Michael J. Marks Sr. of Capron, Marks Produce, was named to the Virginia Peanut Board.
