FRANKLIN – Theodore Michael Joyner, lovingly known as “Little Head,” transitioned life in his home on Oct. 28, 2021. He was a devoted and loving husband of 14 years; father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
He was a member of Gethsemane United Pentecostal Church of Christ under the leadership of Bishop Joseph Johnson and Apostle Patricia Johnson. Michael was employed at California Cartage as a forklift driver. He was a fun, loving people person. There was never a dull moment when in his presence. He kept you laughing and entertained. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Temple Hunt and a sister, Shirley Jeanette Turner.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a wife, Beverly Belinda Ruffin Joyner; a son, Jerod Turner; a stepdaughter, Lyntroya Bagby; father, William Joyner Jr.; a sister, Patricia Johnson (Bishop Joseph); two brothers, Minister Terry Britt (Holly) and Paul Britt Jr.; one brother-in-law, Clarence Ruffin; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. in William M. Engram Sr. Memorial Chapel of Engram Funeral Home in Franklin. Arrangements are entrusted to Engram Funeral Home.
