SUFFOLK – Sarah Esther Spruill Boone of Suffolk, was born Aug. 2, 1928 to Linwood and Sallie Pollard Spruill. She departed this life on June 19 in Norfolk. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4 – 7 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 25 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 4481 Butler Drive, Suffolk, with the Rev. L. Stephon Johnson delivering the eulogy. The committal and benediction will be held in Southampton Memorial Park on Pretlow Road in Franklin. Masks are required during the services.
