CAPRON – Paige LaVerne Wyche Sturdifen was received into the heavenly arms of our Savior during the early morning on Dec. 8, 2022, at her home in Capron, Virginia. Paige (affectionately known as ‘Verne’ or ‘Miss Paige’) was born on Nov. 1, 1946 to her late parents, Ben and Eunice Wyche.

She leaves to cherish her memories, husband of 56 years, Jesse L. Sturdifen; son, Jesse Eugene (Lesley) Sturdifen; grandchildren, Caitlin Sturdifen, Corrin (Andre) Bennett, Sherron and Shaundra Sturdifen; children-at-heart, Ericka and Eric (Da’Net) Sturdifen. She also leaves memories to her siblings: devoted sister, Delia “Dee” (James) Sturdifen; brothers, Lawrence (Veverly) Wyche, Moses (Cynthia) Wyche, Willie “W.A.” (Shirley) Wyche, Leonard (Patricia) Wyche, Cornelius “Winky” (Sandra) Wyche and Larry (Zena) Wyche; devoted friends, Carmilita Foust and Carolyn Whitley; bonus daughter, Charmaine Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
