To the Editor:

On Friday, June 10, Franklin City Public Schools, in conjunction with St. Jude’s Catholic Church, held a benefit dinner for Mary Dimsey to help with medical costs.

I would like to thank the community and members of both organizations for supporting this event by purchasing tickets and baked goods or making monetary donations.

A special “thank you” goes to all those who donated baked goods and helped in so many different ways to make the event such a success.

It was wonderful for the community and folks from the surrounding areas to come together to show this family our support in so many loving ways.
