FRANKLIN – Hercules Aldo “Al” Carrington, born July 11, 1946, was called to heaven Jan. 30, 2023. Al attended Shaw University and received his bachelor of science in accounting from Virginia State University. Al is survived by his daughter, Kapree Carrington; sister, Linda Kiah (Hamilton); brothers, Lowell Carrington (Michele), Glenn Carrington and Keith Carrington (Georgette) as well as, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Al was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Lowell James Carrington; mother, Gladys Marie Carrington; aunt, Essie Brown Cooper; uncle, Russell Cooper who raised Al and brother, Russell Settle Carrington.
