FRANKLIN – Ronald Lee “Ronny” Williams, 69, passed away on Feb. 16, 2023. Born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, but raised in Emporia, he was a son of the late Richard Reeves Williams and Dorothy Louise Wynn Williams.

Ronald received a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and was a sales associate for Men’s Warehouse. He was the former owner of R.L. Williams Logging and former owner of Main Affair in Emporia.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Annette Pickett Williams; three daughters, Kara Wireman, Sydney Williams and Martha Marks; a son, Edward Marks; a sister, Nancy Williams; a brother, Kenny Allen and three grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19 in Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Entombment will be private.
