Area students make fall dean’s, president’s lists at JMU

James Madison University recently announced the names of the students who made the school’s dean’s and president’s lists for the fall 2022 semester, and the list included students from Courtland, Franklin, Newsoms and Windsor.
A JMU news release noted that making the president’s list from Courtland were Emilie Howell, who is majoring in communication sciences and disorders, and Jacob Nolf, who is majoring in general psychology.
Those making the same list from Franklin included Reuben Leonard, who is majoring in general psychology, and Kaitlyn Martin, who is majoring in art.
Hannah Bradshaw, of Newsoms, a nursing major, and Tyler Aston, of Windsor, majoring in integrated science and technology, also made the president’s list.
Making the dean’s list from Courtland were Shea Lindsey, who is majoring in art, and Sarah Wright, who is majoring in dietetics.
Those making the dean’s list from Franklin included Zachary Lee, who is majoring in integrated science and technology, and Tate Linton, who is majoring in sport and recreation management.
Nursing major MaKayla Burks, of Windsor, made the dean’s list as well.
Founded in 1908, James Madison University is a public university located in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. JMU also has the highest post-graduation job levels of all Virginia colleges.
