Meherrin Elementary inducts new members into NEHS, Beta Club

Meherrin Elementary School recently inducted its newest members into its chapters of the National Elementary Honors Society and the National Junior Beta Club.
A school news release stated that NEHS members have maintained an A/B grade average throughout the first semester of the school year, and Beta Club members have maintained straight As.
Both organizations not only focus on academic excellence but service to the school and the community.
The newest NEHS members from Meherrin Elementary include the following: Amiya Barr, Mariah Blei, Camdon Blue, Josiah Boykins, Red Eagle Brown, Hunter Brownfield, Kendrick Brunson, Ra’Miya Bynum, Christina Clemons, Matthew Crawford, Michael D’Arco, Maddyson Dunlow, Katelyn Fatherly, Lexi Ferguson, Alexiah Fowler, Billy Harrison, Gavin Harrison, Jordan House, Sophia Longoria, Cameron Mattox, Austin Mcmillan, Kenan Person, Ginairo Riffas-Jackson, Brooklyn Schwartz, Nathanael Wallace, Chastity Williams, Paris Williams, Serenity Williams, Caleb Dotson, Kamryn Grant-Flythe, Lundyn Flythe, Stacey Perez, Christian Riffas-Williams, Marilyn Spencer, Amelia Story and Jasper Wise.
The Beta Club inductees from MES include the following: Josiah Boykins, Hunter Brownfield, Hunter Casper, Christina Clemons, Matthew Crawford, Makenzie Daniels, Natalie Hinson, Sage Paiva, Ginairo Riffas-Jackson, Marilyn Spencer and Nathanael Wallace.
“Congratulations to both the returning and new members for your outstanding achievements,” school officials said.
