SEDLEY – Shelton Bruce Holt, 56, passed away unexpectedly on May 7, 2023 in his home. Born in Petersburg on June 25, 1966, he was the son of the late Shelton Earl Holt and Sue Babb Holt.

Bruce was a 1984 graduate of Franklin High School and a machine operator for International Paper with 37 years of service. He loved his family, friends, and the NY Jets.

Left to cherish his memory is two daughters, Alexandra Paige “Allie” Holt and Kristen Grace Holt; a sister, Alison Kaye Holt; and his girlfriend, Kim Hockman.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 11 in Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Kidd officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
