The Miss Isle of Wight County Fair Scholarship Pageant Committee will soon accept entries for the 2023 Scholarship Pageant on Sunday, Aug. 13, at Windsor High School.

The pageant, which is open to girls and women ages 9-22 as of Aug. 12 who live in Virginia, provides an opportunity for contestants to win scholarships, develop poise and confidence, show stage presence, enhance interview skills and improve speaking ability. In addition, they will make public appearances and volunteer for community service. 

Contestants will be eligible to win up to $1,500, and the winner of the Miss Division  (ages 17-22) will have the opportunity to win up to an additional $6,000-plus in scholarships.  

Applications will be available at thefairiscoming.com/pageant beginning April 15.  Registration ends July 14.
