FRANKLIN – Lindberg Britt was called home to rest in the arms of our Father in Heaven on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023. The Angel of death came and whispered to Lindberg that his work was completed on earth and that his servic
es were needed in heaven. He would now be enjoying peace and serenity.
Lindberg was born in New York, New York to Letitia Britt on June 16, 1927. At a very young age, Lindberg relocated to Franklin, Virginia, where he was raised by his grandparents, Francis and Edgar Britt.
Lindberg completed his education in Franklin. Upon completion of his formal education, Lindberg enlisted in the United States Army where he had the opportunity to visit many countries while he was serving his country. Upon his honorable discharge, Lindberg returned home to Franklin. He was employed with International Paper and remained under their employment until his retirement.
Lindberg is survived by his son, Wayne Miles (Terry) of Salisbury, Maryland; daughters, Loveeta Britt and Beverly Randall (Terrence) of Franklin; brother, Norman Fuller of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
On Thursday, a public viewing will be held at the funeral home from 3 – 7 p.m. A celebration of life will be on Friday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. at Move of God Ministries, 221 South Main Street in Franklin with the Rev. Dr. Muriel Artis delivering the eulogy; Apostle Tyrone Hart is the pastor. The interment will follow in Southview Cemetery. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M.
