The students and staff of Nottoway Elementary School dedicated their minds and bodies to healthy choices during Red Ribbon Week, a national initiative to educate students about the importance of being drug free.
An NES news release noted that as part of its efforts to teach the students about drug-free living, the school held a spirit week. Each day the students dressed up as part of the drug-free theme. Some examples are “Too Bright for Drugs” by wearing neon colors and sunglasses and “Team Up Against Drugs” by wearing jerseys.
