SUFFOLK – Nancy Thomas Musselman, 78, passed away on Dec. 4, 2023 in Sentara Obici Hospital. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Horace and Virginia Cole Thomas. She was also predeceased by her husband, Irving Ellis Musselman Jr.

Nancy was a registered nurse and house supervisor f

or Southampton Memorial Hospital for over 30 years. She was a member of Holland Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Hope M. Greene of Suffolk; two sons, David Thomas Musselman (Brenda) of Fredericksburg and Joseph Allen Musselman (Kelly) of Williamsburg; a sister, Rebecca England of Lexington; a brother, Randolph Thomas (Paige) of Boalsburg, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, Zachary Greene (Nacasa) and Victoria (Mikael), Ashley, Jacob, Jordan, Alex, Tiffany (Jason) and Shawn (Dawn); and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8 in Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Bunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Holland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Franklin Cooperative Ministry, 301 1^st Avenue, Franklin, VA 23851.
