WALSTONBURG, North Carolina – Clayton Michael “Mike” Edwards, 36, passed away on March 22, 2024. He was born in Franklin and grew up in Boykins.

Mike was a graduate of Hertford County High School and received an Associate’s Degree from Pitt Community College. He was a contractor.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Cheryl Edwards Davis (Bobby); a stepsister, Penny Dav

is and a stepbrother, Chris Davis; his maternal grandmother, Joyce Edwards; aunt, Bonnie Edwards; uncles, Taylor Edwards (Sandra), Brent Edwards (Tammy) and Kent Edwards (Lisa); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Roy T. Edwards Jr. and his aunt, Stacy Edwards.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in Beechwood Cemetery in Boykins with Pastor Michael Baugham officiating.
