Dr. Denise Parsons is a family doctor who is enjoying teaching first- and second-year medical students at MCV and is happy to teach adults in the Southampton County community as well.
A Blackwater Regional Library news release noted that Parsons recently held a REVIVE training event at the Courtland library focused on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose emergency.
This event was made possible by Parsons, the Virginia Department of Health and the Courtland branch of Blackwater Regional Library.
“We appreciate Dr. Parsons sharing her time and talents,” library officials said.
