DREWRYVILLE – Shelva Lee Cobb, 87, a resident of Drewryville, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 13, 2024 in East Pavilion where she had been living for the past three years. Shelva was born on Crutchlow Corne in Southampton County on November 24, 1936.

She is survived by her loving sons, Paul Alexander Cobb Jr. and Joseph Mark Cobb. She will be fondly remembered by her eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She worked at the Department of Corrections for many years as a secretary where she retired. The family would like to thank all her friends and family who have supported her throughout her life, especially the last few years.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Association in memory of her beloved husband. On Tuesday, April 16, a graveside service will be held at Beechwood Cemetery in Boykins at 11 a.m., with Mr. William Hart Gillette officiating.
