UPDATE: The City of Franklin Police Department reported Wednesday evening, April 17, that Aletha Hoffler was located. She is safe and without injury.

The City of Franklin Police Department is seeking assistance in locating Aletha Hoffler, a 62-year-old Black female described as being approximately 5 feet in height and weighing approximately 199 pounds.  

A police department news release stated that Hoffler is known to have ties to the city of Franklin and Gates County, North Carolina. She departed the Econo Lodge hotel, located at 1660 Armory Drive in Franklin, at approximately 11:25 a.m. on Monday, April 15, and has not been seen or heard from since. 

Police stated that currently there is no belief that Hoffler is in danger or in need of services.
