SYLACAUGA, Alabama – This is for the family that were not acknowledged at his passing. John “Johnny” Walter Liverman, 68, of Sylacauga Alabama, passed away May 18, 2024. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Goodman Liverman and Katarina “Katie” Schraudner and his niece Angela Howell.

He is survived by his children, David Liverman of Currituck County, North Carolina, April Liverman (Eddie) of Belvidere, North Carolina and Lauren Liverman (Dennis) of Kannapolis, North Carolina. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Courtney Gardner(Chris), Katelyn Moody (Tyler), Brittany Parker (Griffin), Cody Parker (Karlie), Carter Liverman, Brooklynn Lester and two great-grandchildren, Jamison and Korie Moody. He is also survived by his three sisters, Jeannie Liverman Colman and Linda Liverman Howell of Carrsville, Virginia and Charlette Liverman Lovern(Jerry) of Suffolk, Virginia and countless aunts, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two ex-wives, Terri Turner Davis of Franklin, Virginia and Susan Mcfatter of Portsmouth, Virginia.

Visitation for Johnny was held on Friday, May 24 from 5 – 7 p.m. as well as a funeral service on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Sons Funeral Home. All services were officiated by the Rev. William Lucas.
