The city of Franklin’s 2024 Independence Day Celebration will take place from 4-9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, in the downtown area in and around Barrett’s Landing Park.
Franklin Director of Tourism A’Risha Jones invited community members to “experience a day of celebration packed with enjoyable games, delicious cuisine and amazing fireworks.”
She noted that the event kicks off at 4 p.m. with the Franklin Cruise-In, which takes place next to the Franklin Fire & Rescue station in the parking lot that borders South Main Street. The event spills out onto the street and surrounding area as well.
The ACE Party Band begins performing at 6 p.m. at Barrett’s Landing.
“We have free hotdogs and watermelon courtesy of The Franklin Experience,” Jones said, noting that these food items are available while supplies last starting at 6:30 p.m.
Food trucks set to be on hand at the celebration include Funnel Cake Xpress; @CMO Snax; Food Play by Rio; and Kona Ice.
The fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. and is presented courtesy of Francisco Display Fireworks LLC.
“Invite your loved ones to participate in the patriotic celebrations and create unforgettable moments together,” Jones said. “Don’t let this thrilling occasion pass you by.”
