FRANKLIN – Joyce Lee Dotson, 89, passed away Tuesday Aug. 6, 2024 at the East Pavillion. She was born Dec. 2, 1934 in Norfolk, a daughter of the late Harry Clifford Bull and the late Helen Harrison Bull.

Joyce was a graduate of Norview High School and was a longtime resident of Norfolk. She was retired as a customer service representative for VEPCO.

Joyce is survived by a daughter, Tesa Fentress of Tampa, Florida; a son, Jack Dotson (Diane) of Suffolk; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m.on Saturday, Aug. 10, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk with Pastor Rick Mayhue officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
