Rachel Blythe is a recent graduate of Southampton High School (something we never thought was possible). Her plans in the future are to help others like her. She is returning to SHS next year to help out around the school. Rachel was born 3 1/2 months early and given a 30% chance of surviving. At 2 years old she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She has endured 17 surgeries (all before she was 12 years old). She has been in therapy one to three times a week all her life. She has been involved in several organizations over the years, including Cub/Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, youth group and many more. She has traveled all over the U.S., including visiting the Grand Canyon. She has received the GOLD award (highest in Girl Scouts). She enjoys riding roller coasters and four-wheelers, snow tubing, water slides, camping, the beach and riding anything fast. She has and will continue to be an inspiration to any and everyone she meets. Rachel is a great example of a Christ-like young lady who truly loves everyone she meets.

Her parents are Kim and Dwayne Blythe. Her brother is Kendal Blythe.
