DREWRYVILLE – Shanna Rebecca Long, 46, affectionately known to her beloved partner as “Shanna Banana,” passed away on Aug. 16, 2024.

Shanna was a devoted member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church. She adored animals, finding peace in their presence and sharing her life with her beloved dog, Winston and her cat, Twiggy.

She is survived by her daughter Kristie, her partner David, her brother Terry James Wickham Jr., and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25 in Thomas Memorial Baptist Church. To all of those attending, please wear vibrant colors to match the vibrant spirit of Shanna. Please send flowers to Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, 23006 Drewry Road, Drewryville, VA 23844.
