FRANKLIN – Roger Darnell Smith, of Roosevelt Avenue, Franklin, peacefully transitioned on Aug. 21, 2024 in his home. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 3 – 7 p.m. On Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, at 11 a.m., a celebration of love will be held at Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1071 Carrsville Highway in Franklinwith the pastor, Rev. Alfred D. Brown Sr. delivering the eulogy. The committal and benediction will follow in Southview Cemetery. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M.
