COURTLAND – Richard Milton “Rick” Tunstall, 72, passed away Sept. 23, 2024 in VCU Medical Center. Born in Richmond, raised in Kilmarnock and a former resident of Williamsburg, he was the son of the late Emmett Beasley Tunstall and Nannie Katherine Adams Tunstall.

Rick was a graduate of Northumberland High School and the Crater Police Academy. He was a retired brewery lab technician for Anheuser Busch in Williamsburg and a former Newport News policeman.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 39 years, Terry Jane Tunstall and two sons, Richard M. Tunstall Jr. and Kevin M. Tunstall.

Services will be private.
