CONCORD, North Carolina – Lorraine Sumner of Trotting Circle, Concord, North Carolina transitioned Sept. 26, 2024. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 3 – 7 p.m. On the day of the service, her remains will rest in church for viewing by 11 a.m.. On Saturday, Oct. 5, a celebration of love will be held at noon at Corinth Chapel United Church of Christ, 7945 Corinth Chapel Road in Suffolk with Elder Dora Lee delivering the eulogy; Dr. Linwood Boone is the pastor. The committal and benediction will follow in Sumner Family Cemetery. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M.
